CONTINUUM®, No Noise helical rotor pump by Settima Meccanica

28/03/2022

Born in the early 2000s, The CONTINUUM® No Noise helical rotor pump has been invented by Settima Meccanica with the purpose of meeting the needs of an Increasingly Demanding Industrial World, which focused on the creation of a better working environment.

Indeed, THIS TECHNOLOGY HAS DEEPLY REVOLUTIONIZED THE HYDRAULIC SECTOR by eliminating acoustic emissions and function noise, as well as providing better EFFICIENCY AND HEALTHIER WORKING CONDITIONS FOR USERS.

These pumps boast a designed rotor profile, which does not let any encapsulation chamber and, therefore, AVOIDS TRAPPING ANY FLUID VOLUME. Due to the single point of contact between the two rotors, the helical course of the CONTINUUM® rotor profile drastically lowers any pulsation. In addition, the capability to reach a pressure up to 300 bar, a variety of displacements from 2.0 up to 300cc and a high speed of operation from 50 to 8000 rpm represent other great strengths of this range of pumps.

Lastly, they are suitable for multiple setups, whereby the drive shaft of the first pump is extended to a second, third or fourth CONTINUUM® pump. All of these benefits have contributed to CONTINUUM® uniqueness and allowed the brand to be worldwide patented.
