The Cannes Yachting Festival has been held every September since 1977 in the sparkling Bay of Cannes, in a luxurious and elegant universe.
The Cannes Yachting Festival is the first boat show of the nautical season and the Europe’s biggest in-water event.
It brings together those involved in leisure boating who present their numerous new products for the first time.
This year too, the Vieux Port will have over 350 boats on display – the crème de la crème of new yachts from 10 to 45 metres, presented by the biggest Shipyards in France, Italy and the rest of the world.
On land, the shipyards will share the docks with OEMs and service companies operating primarily in the marine power industry.
Furthermore, to mitigate the important modernization and transformation works of the Vieux Port, which have began this year and will last until 2026, the organization of the festival has foreseen several innovations, including the creation of a new marina dedicated to new motor boats up to ?12-13 meters at Port Canto.
This marina will span over 2000m² and offer over 300m of linear quayside. It will be able to accommodate 170 units, with rigid or semi-rigid hulls, i.e. 140 in water and around thirty on land. Visitors will find the boats and brands usually displayed on the Quai Max Laubeuf, an area made unavailable due to the works.
