Hydraulic Systems: Danfoss Signs Agreement to Acquire Alfagomma
06/07/2026
Danfoss aims to acquire Alfagomma.
This decision is part of Danfoss's LEAP 2030 strategy, which includes, among its priorities, accelerating the profitable growth of its Fluid Conveyance division, the core business within Danfoss Power Solutions.
Alfagomma, headquartered in Italy, is a leading global manufacturer of hoses, fittings, and quick-release couplings, with approximately €600 million in annual revenues, 4,500 employees, and an industrial presence spanning 28 manufacturing and assembly sites worldwide.
The integration of Alfagomma's operations with the Fluid Conveyance division would create a leading global player in the hydraulic systems and industrial hoses sector, both in production and distribution.
Since 2021, Danfoss has significantly strengthened its Fluid Conveyance business through the acquisition of Eaton's Hydraulics business and, more recently, Hydro Holding in Italy, while continuing to invest in facilities, technology, and infrastructure.
Today, the Fluid Conveyance division represents one of the largest and fastest-growing business areas within Danfoss Power Solutions.
The two companies will continue to operate independently throughout the process, ensuring operational continuity and smooth operations for customers, suppliers, and employees.
Danfoss confirms its intention to complete the transaction and reaffirms its commitment to investing in the business and maintaining a strong industrial presence in Italy. Since 1961, the Danfoss Group has been present in the country with over 1,100 employees across 14 locations.
Danfoss considers Italy a strategic country for its future development and confirms its long-term commitment to strengthening its operations, supporting its industrial base, and ensuring stability, growth, and continued investment in Alfagomma's people, expertise, and operations.
