Eni wins management of Marina di Ravenna and Ortona warehouses.
Eni announced that it has awarded two contracts, with a total value of over 60 million euros, for the management of warehouses serving some of its wells and platforms, on and offshore.
The framework of the contract was a competitive procedure with negotiation, divided into two lots. The first, relating to "logistics and materials services" at the Eni bases in Marina di Ravenna and Ortona, went to a consortium composed of Ciclat, a consortium of various services based in Bologna, Nuova Clar, Italbonifiche Spa and Baldini Campedelli, which offers exceptional transport, rental of cranes and platforms.
In detail, the activity includes "loading and unloading from trucks of tubular material, correctives and various drilling, production, maintenance and other on/off shore activities equipment", as well as "of various materials also positioned in baskets and related stowage"; "auxiliary activities in the warehouse inventory phase"; "stowing and unstowing of casing, slinging and handling of the same to allow inspection"; "preparation of tubular material in frames or slings for subsequent handling"; "handling of waste also from platforms", "loading and unloading of palletized and non-palletized bags"; "handling, stowage and unstowing of various materials inside the warehouse with positioning in the locations, including on the shelves, indicated by the Client"; "glycol and fuel transport". For this contract, the overall award value indicated in the notice is 49.8 million euros, an amount sufficient to cover a four-year contract (48 months) plus two options lasting 12 months each.
The second lot of the procedure (worth 10.5 million euros, for a contract of the same duration, i.e. 48 months plus two possible extensions of 12 months each), instead concerned the Caviaga warehouse in Cavenago d’Adda (Lodi) and the supply of logistics services for the power plants in Trecate (Novara), Caviaga itself and Soresina (Cremona), as well as the “well areas pertaining to them”. Won by a consortium composed of Autovictor Srl, which offers transport and handling services with cranes and similar, and San Pietro Petroli di F.lli Zurlo, this concerned ancillary services such as maintenance of green areas, cleaning, fire prevention, management, annual testing and certification of the Caviaga warehouse scale and surveillance.
