Working in Romagna. Service sector prevails in 2023

The positive trend of hiring in Romagna continues unbated and ended positively in 2023.
According to data from Excelsior Unioncamere, the number of new hires for the September-December quarter was 29,680, just to name a few numbers: Ravenna 9,640, Forlì-Cesena 10,220, Rimini 9,820.
The services sector confirmed itself as the protagonist of new hires (Ravenna 34%, Forlì-Cesena 24.3%, Rimini 31.8%), followed by the manufacturing sector (Ravenna 21.1%, Forlì-Cesena 24.3% , Rimini 24%), trade (Ravenna 19.7%, Forlì-Cesena 22%, Rimini 19%) tourism (Ravenna 15.3%, Forlì-Cesena 14.7%, Rimini 14.3%) to finish with construction (Ravenna 10%, Forlì-Cesena 10.3%, Rimini 10.9%).
The most sought after professions are those employed in catering activities (Ravenna 16.4%, Forlì-Cesena 12.9%, Rimini 23.3%) followed by cleaners (Ravenna 10.9%, Forlì-Cesena 11%, Rimini 11.4%) followed by sales workers (Ravenna 8.5%, Forlì-Cesena 7.5%, Rimini 9.6%).
The situation regarding the search for study addresses in Romagna presents significant differences. In Ravenna, qualifications related to the social-healthcare field are the most sought after, with 8.9% preference, followed by those in administration-finance-marketing with 8.6%, and the mechanical field with 7.7%. In the province of Forlì-Cesena, the preference is more oriented towards administration-finance-marketing, with an incidence of 11.5%, followed by the mechanical direction with 6%. In third place, there are socio-health, tourism-food and wine-hospitality and teaching-training, all with a percentage of 5.4%.
In Rimini, the most coveted field of study is teaching-training, with 11.1% preference, followed by tourism-food and wine-hospitality with 10.5%, and administration-finance-marketing with 8.7%.
