ROSETTI MARINO: a new green hydrogen plant in the North sea

Rosetti Marino, a group listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in shipbuilding and energy plants, has been awarded a new Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning contract by the Dutch offshore wind farm builder CrossWind, a joint venture between Shell (80%) and Eneco (20%).
The contract involves the construction of a plant for the production and storage of green hydrogen within the Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm in CrossWind, 18.5 kilometers from the Dutch coast.
Activities will start immediately and are expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
The pilot plant converts excess wind energy into green hydrogen through an electrolyser and stores it as green hydrogen which can be converted back into electricity when needed, aiming at reducing the problem of intermittent nature of wind energy production.
