Agricultural Machinery: Positive Trend For Components
19/05/2021
The components for agricultural machinery are restarting faster than expected. The survey by Comacomp, (Association of Component Manufacturers) indicates that 51.5% of the companies surveyed recorded increases of more than 20%. That is very encouraging, whereas the majority of these companies have seen their business grow, especially on the domestic market, but have also recorded a positive growth trend with regard to exports. Increasing sales in the European area had a great impact, but non-European markets also had a positive trend. According to Comacomp forecasts, the favorable economic situation should be confirmed in the coming months as the data about orders seems to be in sharp growth.
Components are therefore confirmed as one of the leading sectors of agricultural mechanics, both for the value of production (over 2.7 billion euros) and for the ability to propose highly innovative solutions. A segment which will benefit from the events taking place the end of 2021, including EIMA International, the great exhibition of agricultural machinery scheduled in Bologna from 19 to 23 October. The Bologna fair has indeed dedicated a specific space to the sector, the EIMA Components fair.
