Anvera Elab attending the Venice E-Regatta to set the speed record for an electrically propelled boat

ANVERA will attend the VENICE E-REGATTA 2021 event, in the context of the Venice Boat Show, with the Anvera E-lab boat, a prototype of a carbon fiber mono-hull planing boat, whose electric propulsion was built together with TecnoElettra. This event has been organized in favor of the development of the eco-sustainable transport sector and consists of four tests: Slalom, E-Ballerina, sprint test with an attempt to set a new speed record and final endurance test. ABB -global leader in electric charging technologies- is the main sponsor of the Anvera E-lab boat, recognizing boating as one of the sectors that can make a contribution to the development of the transport sector in a sustainable way. ABB charging stations will be installed at the e-Village pier, allowing the recharging of electrically propelled boats. The crew on board will be made up of Luca Ferrari, Class 1 World Champion in 1994 and 1997 as well as one of the three founding members of the Anvera brand and the astronaut Maurizio Cheli, aerospace engineer, with experience as Chief Test Pilot for defense aircraft, with over 370 hours of space activity, 5000 hours of flight on over 100 different types of aircraft and numerous patents for military aircraft and helicopters.
