China: recovery of international transport

In China, container handling in ports is growing, the data from the transport ministry confirms.
During the January-May period, the increase in the volume moved is 2.3% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 116.48 million units equivalent to twenty feet (Teu), according to the ministry; in the same period the volume of goods handled in Chinese ports reached 6.25 billion tons, with a decrease of 0.5% on an annual basis.
