Ducati, electric breakthrough: sole manufacturer of the MotoE since 2023

Ducati will be a protagonist in the MotoE starting from 2023, and the sporting turning point heralds a landing on the electric market perhaps already in 4 years.

We are working to make Enel MotoE World available to all FIM participants. Cup electric motorcycles that are highly performing and are characterized by their lightness ".
Carmelo Ezpeleta, Ceo Dorna Sports, organizer of the world championship: "We are very proud to announce that Ducati will be the new sole manufacturer for the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup. With their incredible history in the world of racing, it is a real honor to welcome this commitment from one of the best known manufacturers in the paddock and face this new challenge together ".
The signed agreement lasts until 2026 and will therefore cover 4 editions of the electric world championship. This is a historic step for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, which traditionally focuses on sports and pure performance before moving on to mobility. The goal is to develop skills and technologies in a constantly evolving world such as the electric one.
