OMC 2021
22/02/2021
We are reconfirming our participation in the Offshore Mediterranean Conference 2021,that will be held in Ravenna from September 28th to 30th, as elected representatives of the exhibiting company MP Filtri.
This biennial fair dedicated to the offshore mining of the Mediterranean basin, will be the spokesperson for a current message of international significance, which focuses on a particularly shared topic, that has been wisely summarized in the hashtag #rethinkingenergytogether, fil-rouge of the whole event.
Due to the increasing public awareness and sensitivity on the issue of climate change, the main subject of the OMC for this year will mostly focus on the establishment of synergies and alliances, in order to build and strengthen the partnership between energy operators, contractors, institutions and consumers, with the ultimate goal of unlocking enormous business potential.
Lately the O&G industry has considerably approached other forms of energy, starting from the renewable ones coming to energy efficiency, and is massively investing in innovation and energy repositioning, moving towards a significant reduction in carbon emissions, aiming at the carbon neutrality, in order to make its activities not impacting on climate. In addition to this, it highlights the energy enhancement of natural gas and clean energy sources, to seek solutions which can anticipate a future that will be as sustainable as possible.
To achieve this goal, we can’t count on a single solution, it is necessary instead to cooperate in order to build a network of paths that must be tested all together. Creating long-term values and embracing energy transition as an opportunity to grow despite of the recession due to the effects of the pandemic: these are the priorities of the global energy sector. Alliances, therefore, will play a huge role in the future energy scenario as strategies for companies to reduce carbon emissions. In this context the OMC, which has been a transversal flagship event in the Mediterranean upstream field for 25 years, is committed to expanding its horizons from an integrative perspective, including and selecting partners and companies for their high levels of efficiency, with the purpose of raising awareness about the complementarity of all energy sources.
In this regard, when we mention values such as efficiency and quality, we cannot fail to mention MP Filtri, a leading company in the field of hydraulic filtration, which after two years still confirms in 2021 its presence in OMC as the ideal partner for exhibition. MP Filtri has recently approached the O&G industry in a significant way, discerning great potential in the energy sector. For an ever-expanding company such as MP Filtri, which has always managed to keep up with trends over the years (especially with regard to technological development), attending the Ravenna fair, in addition to exhibiting products of excellent quality, means identifying new market segments, and also giving the customers the opportunity to see first-hand the latest innovations in terms of new technologies. This whole thing gives our team a great reason for satisfaction being able to represent and support a company that has always heavily invested in research and development, and aims to establish new standards in the design and production of filtration technologies and monitoring of fluid contamination, always reconfirming its ability to stand out internationally thanks to the high quality standards that manages to meet over the years.
The main mission of the OMC is therefore to develop synergic strategies between the companies that participate in the exhibition, and secondly to act as a catalyst of the collaboration process, in order to communicate the position of the industry towards common objectives.
We are proud to share the spirit with which this big event arises by taking an active part in the process that finds its focus, and also its strength, in the cooperation between companies that stand out for their high quality value in terms of innovation, efficiency and quality.
