60% of Italian SMEs consider the Recovery Fund an unmissable opportunity

Research by TeamSystem, developed in collaboration with Kantar, highlights how Italian SMEs consider the Recovery Fund an important opportunity. If we look at the short-term prospects, namely those related to the relaunch of the country in the phase immediately following the end of the health emergency, the importance of the correct use of European funds grows further. For 9 out of 10 companies it is an essential and indispensable condition for the relaunch of the economic system, already heavily impacted by the closures and lockdowns to combat the pandemic. Not all consider the role of the Next Gen EU as a tool of future competitiveness so vital: for 40% of the sample there are more valid alternatives in order to bring Italy back on a path of sustainable growth over the next few years. Among these, over 60% believe that the Government must implement concrete programs to support companies that decide to bring production back to Italy (re-shoring), 52% are pressing for a substantial reform of employment contracts, and about 40 % cites a radical reform of the tax system as one of the keystones.
