Smart District in the Lombardy area: Tim for digitalization

Tim operates in the Lombardy region by involving those areas once neglected by fast connections and now at the core of certain investments to accelerate development. In this scenario special services have been created for 29 production companies in Lombardy, in order to push digitalization and growth in terms of research and development. Tim makes various tools available to companies in the Lombardy districts for Cloud, Edge Computing, cybersecurity and international services. “With the Smart District project we want to concretely respond to the needs and requirements of companies by making the most modern technologies available to them”, says Fabrizio Grattarola, Tim's head of consumer and small & medium north west sales.
